About Jochen

Jochen's introduction to Manual Therapy began with a course program leading to a Postgraduate Certificate in Manual Therapy in 1990. After he completed a further two-year postgraduate program in KEOMT (IFOMT standards) in 1992, he has been involved in tutoring and teaching the KEOMT concept in Germany and in Australia.

Kaltenborn-Evjenth Orthopedic Manual Therapy (KEOMT) is a worldwide network of orthopedic manual therapy educators whose purpose is to promote excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with arthro-neuro-muscular conditions through the establishment of clinical practice standards, the advancement of educational and research programs and collegial exchange.

In the nineties, Jochen's physiotherapy practice in Germany was part of a multidisciplinary team of specialists who were highly committed to treating athletes competing at an advanced national or international level. Jochen has applied the same level of commitment at Central Physiotherapy for more than ten years. In over 30 years of practice, he has acquired extensive knowledge of acute, chronic and complex musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. Moreover, since his postgraduate KEOMT training in the early nineties, Jochen has developed a particular interest in the assessment and treatment of craniofacial pain, neck and jaw dysfunction.
