Do I need a referral?

A referral from your doctor is not necessary unless you are claiming treatment under Worker’s Compensation, Veteran’s Affairs, Third Party Insurance or Medicare under a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM). Please be advised that our practice does not bulk bill under Medicare.

 

You are required to pay for the full fee up front and you will be able to claim your Medicare rebate on site.

What happens on my initial visit?

Please allow approximately 1 hour for your initial assessment and treatment. It includes a review of your medical history followed by a thorough physical examination. A biomechanical assessment will reveal any altered movement patterns that may be causing you pain and discomfort. Subsequently, with a clear understanding of your condition and taking into account your routines and lifestyle, Jochen will design an individual treatment plan which will combine hands-on treatment coupled with a tailored exercise program. Most subsequent visits will take approximately 45 minutes.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the busy nature of our practice, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations, so that we can contact patients from our waiting list. If cancelled outside of this time frame, a non cancellation fee of $120 may apply.
